Economic relations between Spain and Türkiye show a consistent upward trend with each passing year. Growtech, an annual event in Antalya that attracts the businesses shaping the global agriculture, plays a significant role in fostering business relations between Turkish and Spanish companies. Juan Bernuy, who serves as the International Trade Consultant for Growtech Spain Pavilion, claimed that the exhibition offers major opportunities for the expansion of commercial connections between two countries in the agricultural sector.

Attending Growtech, the world’s biggest greenhouse agriculture fair, this year for the first time with national pavilions, Germany took action for business cooperations with Türkiye in different domains of the agriculture industry.

During the opening of the exhibition at Antalya ANFAŞ Expo Center, Harald Braungardt, CEO, Step Systems GmbH, and a representative of the German Ministry of Agriculture highlighted the importance of Growtech’s capability to connect with other countries and stated, “We consider Türkiye as the backbone to connect us with other countries”.

Stating that they brought together 510 exhibitors from 25 countries and 53.640 international agricultural professionals from 125 countries under one roof in 2021, Growtech Expo Director Engin Er stated that the preparations for 2022 Growtech continue. For 4 days, events where the future of the agricultural sector, which is more important than the other, will be discussed in addition to trade, will be held at Growtech for exhibitors and visitors.
