A protocol has been signed in Antalya between the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism with the aim of developing a joint vision for sustainable development in the agriculture and tourism sectors.
The signing ceremony of the "Antalya Agriculture and Tourism Integration and Sustainability Protocol", held at the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, was attended by Deputy Governor Aydın Abak, Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Fırat Erkal, and Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Candemir Zoroğlu.
In his remarks, Deputy Governor Abak stated that Antalya, with its rich agricultural production potential, unique natural landscape, and leadership in tourism, serves as a driving force behind Türkiye’s development.
Abak noted that the protocol aims to support local production, encourage tourism enterprises to adopt sustainable resource use, and promote practices that reduce environmental impact. He emphasised that the initiative seeks to establish a direct and sustainable supply chain between producer cooperatives and tourism businesses.
