Türkiye Ranked First in Europe in 2023 with Agricultural Output of 68.5 Billion Dollars

- Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı: - “I sincerely congratulate all our sector stakeholders who contributed to this success” 

Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı stated that Türkiye ranked first in Europe and among the top 10 countries in the world with an agricultural output of 68.5 billion dollars last year.

In a post on his social media account, Yumaklı stated that farmers continue to add value to the Turkish economy.

Citing data from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Bank, Yumaklı said “Türkiye ranked first in Europe and among the top 10 countries in the world with an agricultural output of 68.5 billion dollars in 2023. I sincerely congratulate all our sector stakeholders who contributed to this success.”

In the aforementioned post, it was also stated that Türkiye achieved a 16 percent increase in agricultural output in 2023 compared to the previous year.
